Becoming an MI Member

I recommend going to the website and watching the helpful video where MI explains how to move through the stages to maturity. Noel O'Reilly, Xpert HR

There are 4 levels of membership and designation:

Affiliate (MIA) – the entry point for all new members, requiring attendance on the MI Orientation, which includes your first year membership fee (currently GBP50 per annum).

Associate (AMI) – all Affiliates are actively encouraged to move up to Associateship where they work under the guidance of professional (PMI) members

Accredited (PMI) – Professional grade, approved to undertake defined work independently, under MI’s umbrella

Fellow (FMI) – highly experienced in mature thinking and practice with the ability to inform the future development of MI

All members receive:

  •  exclusive access to four MI webinars per year
  •  a member only knowledge sharing group
  •  discounts on MI events;  and
  •  our in-house MI Membership newsletter.

Continuing Professional Development – we run our in-house webinars as CPD sessions with all members having to attend a minimum of 2 per year.
